Bio:

Dr.Jolie Chu earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California and has been in her private practice since 2003. While matriculating at USC, she achieved Dean's List for her academic achievements as well as outstanding clinical performance. A lifelong learner, Dr.Chu attends many dental conferences organized by renounced researchers and clinicians in the fields of dental implants, orthodontics, endodontic and oral maxillofacial surgery. As such, Dr.Chu has always been at the forefront of practicing dentistry with the latest, most innovative concepts to ensure her patients receive the most excellent of care that modern dentistry has to offer.
A technology enthusiast, Dr.Chu believes in the concept of digital healthcare. Cumbersome paperwork is eliminated, and communications between doctors to provide the best of care for patients vastly improves with digital technology. Jolie Dental is one of the very first offices in the city of Houston and the surrounding vicinity to offer a complete digital patient care system. This includes:

-Electronic check-in: at Jolie Dental, patients sign in at a computer kiosk located in the patient lounge. This reduces waiting time, enhances patient privacy, and reduces staff errors.
-Digital X-Rays: digital radiographs offer vast advantages over traditional X-Rays with its ability to be magnified, contrasted, and enhanced digitally.
-Intra-Oral camera: detect cavities that normal eyes cannot see, provides documentation for communication between doctors, and aid in the screening for oral cancer. Intra-oral camera together with digital X-Rays enhances disease diagnosis and let the patient see exactly what the doctor see.
-Chair side electronics: every room is equipped with a computer, an LCD patient monitor, electronic signature pad, Casey Patient Education: all for the purpose of educating the patient regarding their oral hygiene, a dental procedure, or post-operative care.
-Computerized endodontic: Jolie Dental is equipped with apex locator, Brassler Endo-Mate DT which greatly improve the success rate over traditional root canal therapy without the aid of computer.
